TUCSON, AZ — The menus are here, and the final countdown to one of Arizona's most anticipated culinary events has officially begun.

America's Best Mexican Food Festival today unveiled the complete lineup of participating restaurants, chefs, and featured dishes for its immersive culinary celebration taking place Saturday, August 8, 2026, at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson.

 

America's Best Mexican Food Festival invites guests on a journey across the diverse culinary regions of Mexico through thoughtfully curated tasting experiences, handcrafted cocktails, live music, visual art, and cultural storytelling. Every dish reflects generations of tradition while celebrating the creativity and innovation shaping Mexican cuisine today.

 

Guests will explore distinct regional experiences throughout the evening, including:

  • Northern Mexico featuring Sonoran specialties, handmade tortillas, birria, tamales, bacanora tastings, craft cocktails, and regional street foods.

  • Central Mexico showcasing heritage mole, barbacoa, aguas frescas, raspados, and traditional recipes rooted in the country's cultural heart.

  • The Pacific Coast highlighting vibrant seafood, ceviches, aguachiles, shrimp tacos, coastal cocktails, and fresh ocean-inspired flavors.

  • Southern Mexico & the Yucatán Peninsula celebrating iconic dishes such as cochinita pibil, Mexican street corn, and richly layered regional specialties.
     

The newly released menu features an extraordinary collection of culinary talent, including Agave House, Amelia's Mexican Kitchen, At Ease Cookz, Boca Tacos, Café La Indita, Casa Asada, El Antojo Poblano, Guadalajara's Grill, HUMO Cocina Mexicana, La Frida Mexican Grill & Seafood, Penca, Taqueria Pico de Gallo, The Westin La Paloma Resort, Whiskey Del Bac, and many more, each presenting signature dishes inspired by Mexico's diverse culinary traditions.

 

"This festival is about far more than exceptional food," said Da'Lice Shepard, Culinary Events Manager at Art Stat Arizona. "Every chef, every recipe, and every regional experience tells a story. Guests will experience the artistry and heritage that have made Mexican food one of the world's most celebrated culinary traditions."

 

Presented in collaboration with Visit Tucson and the Tucson International Mariachi Conference, the festival celebrates the powerful intersection of food, art, music, and community while showcasing Tucson's internationally recognized culinary landscape.

 

Proceeds from the event benefit Art State Arizona, supporting arts education, cultural programming, public art initiatives, and opportunities that strengthen Arizona's creative economy. The festival reflects Art State Arizona's belief that creativity extends far beyond galleries and stages. It is woven into the foods we share, the traditions we preserve, and the communities we build together.

 

Guests can choose between General Admission and VIP experiences, with VIP ticket holders enjoying exclusive chef-crafted dishes, elevated beverage pairings, and premium culinary offerings, and an exclusive VIP Lounge for an elevated experience. 

With more than 30 participating culinary partners, immersive regional experiences, artisan spirits, live entertainment, and unforgettable flavors, America's Best Mexican Food Festival promises an evening where every bite tells a story.
