Events Calendar Purpose and Guidelines

The purpose of the Visit Tucson Events Calendar is to feature events that drive visitation to our destination and provide economic impact for our partners. While we love the fact that many locals use our calendar as well, the primary focus is on events that appeal to visitors, helping them to plan their visit, or find something to do once they are already here. Visit Tucson prides itself on being the go-to calendar of events for visitors and locals while striving to ensure that the calendar highlights the best and most exciting festivals and events in Tucson. See below for our calendar guidelines.

  • The calendar is restricted to events hosted or presented by Visit Tucson dues-paying partners. Exceptions may be made for high-profile festivals and events that would be a draw for visitors. Dues-paying partners may submit their events via the Partner Portal. If you need assistance or would like to find out how you can become a Visit Tucson partner, please contact partners@visittucson.org

  • Events must be submitted a minimum of seven working days in advance of the event's start date.

  • Events must take place in the City of Tucson or unincorporated Pima County. Exceptions may be made for Visit Tucson partner events taking place within the broader southern Arizona region.

  • Events should showcase the best of Tucson and Pima County and align with our mission and vision. We place emphasis on events that highlight local gastronomy, outdoors & nature, the arts, well-being, and our region’s heritage & culture.

  • Events must be open to the public - free or ticketed.

  • Partners may only have up to four active events on the calendar at any given time.
