TUCSON, AZ (March 27, 2026) Internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang returns to Tucson this Sunday, March 29, for a highly anticipated 2pm matinee performance at the  Linda Ronstadt Music Hall conducted by TSO music director, José Luis Gómez.
Appearing with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Lang Lang will perform Beethoven’s  Piano Concerto No. 4 in what is expected to be a sell-out event.

Considered one of the world’s greatest pianists, Lang Lang has performed at major international events such as the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Summer
Olympics and the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games, as well as the reopening  of Paris’ Notre-Dame Cathedral.
This Sunday’s performance marks Lang Lang’s third visit to Tucson and his second  appearance with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. He previously performed
Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the orchestra in 2011 to widespread acclaim.

Sunday’s concert is his only scheduled appearance in the Southwest this season. Lang Lang began studying piano at the age of three and gave his first public recital
before turning five. In 1999, at 17, he made his breakthrough debut performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, a
performance that brought him international recognition. He has since built a global  career, earning numerous honors, including being named to TIME Magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People.

Lang Lang’s appearance is made possible by the Connie Hillman Family Foundation. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at www.tucsonsymphony.org
