Tucson, AZ--- Charro Chico, the fast casual eatery located at 3699 N. Campbell(in the same center as Safeway and Ghini’s Café) is now “Si Charro! Catering Kitchen & Charro Chico”. Hours of operation have also changed to allow for the new catering kitchen to better serve clients whose orders are currently being fulfilled from this location.
Candace Carrillo, Director for Si Charro Restaurants & Catering adds “We simply needed a dedicated kitchen for our catering clients, including several UA Athletics Teams. The location and kitchen set up at Charro Chico is ideally suited for catering than our other stores”
Also beginning today, Charro Chico will go to a lunch-only program offered Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 2pm and will no longer be open for dinner. Candace added that “We wanted more kitchen space for our growing catering needs. Keeping the space open at night during prime catering hours is a much better business decision for us”.
The Si Charro Catering Kitchen allows the company to have a central location to address the growing demand for office, medical, and home catering and to staff food and service personnel close to the University where they often are needed to feed both fans and players at a multitude of concessions at Wildcat sporting events.
The new Charro Chico menus are currently being refined and will include some lower price options that should appeal to lunch patrons and allow for guest pick-up and delivery during the day.
Aside from their signature Mexican cuisine, Si Charro! Catering Kitchen offers many types of regional and international cuisines.
