Written approval is generally not required for non-commercial use of the Visit Tucson and department logos on websites, at promotional events, and in publications, provided the terms below are met. Use of the Tucson logo requires a request and approval in every case.
- Use the logo as provided. Do not alter, redraw, recolor, or translate any Visit Tucson mark, and do not use a mark as a possessive.
- Follow the logo usage guidelines in our brand guide, including clear space, minimum size, and approved color versions.
- Do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation that does not exist. If Visit Tucson or a Visit Tucson department is a sponsor of your event or organization, you may identify that relationship. Otherwise, state clearly that your website, publication, or event is not affiliated with or endorsed by Visit Tucson.
- Do not use Visit Tucson marks in domain names or social media handles.
- Do not combine your organization's name with a Visit Tucson mark in a way that implies an organizational link, and do not create or use confusingly similar marks.
- Do not use Visit Tucson marks in a way that disparages Visit Tucson, the City of Tucson, or Pima County.
- Do not imply that Visit Tucson is responsible for the performance of third-party products or services.
- Include an attribution statement where practical, for example: VISIT TUCSON and VAMOS A TUCSON are registered trademarks of the Metropolitan Tucson Convention & Visitors Bureau.
- Written approval is required for any commercial use, including merchandise such as apparel, and for any use that falls outside these terms.
Visit Tucson may request an example of how a mark is being used. Visit Tucson retains and reserves all rights to its trademarks, including the right to update these terms. Any use that does not comply with these terms must be modified or discontinued within two days of notice.
Requesting the Tucson logo
The Tucson logo is a registered trademark, and we review each request individually rather than making the logo available for open download. Approval is at Visit Tucson's discretion. This lets us keep the mark consistent wherever it appears and protect what it represents for the community. Visit Tucson may deny any request and may revoke approval if a use does not follow these guidelines or detracts from the mark.
When you submit a request, tell us who you are, how you plan to use the logo, and where it will appear. Including a mockup or example helps us review your request faster. Approved requests receive logo files that include the registered trademark symbol, and those files must be used as provided.
