Tucson, AZ -- The Presidio Museum presents one of its most popular events on April 18, 2026, from 10 am – 3 pm. Native Nations Day is included with museum admission and free for museum members. A family friendly event, it celebrates 4000+ years of indigenous culture in Tucson through art, food, and performances.

10:30 am Presentation: The Significance of the Deer Dance to the Yaqui (Yoeme) People with Brandon Varela, Director of the Old Pascua Museum and Yaqui Culture Center.
12:00 pm Yaqui (Yoeme) Deer Dance
2:15 pm Yaqui (Yoeme) Coyote Dance
Demonstrations/vendors:
Flintknapping, pottery, silversmithing, gourd making, basket making, flintknapping, and much more!
Food:
Sherri's Frybread with sweet and savory toppings.
