THE GUIDES: Angels & Madonnas

The exhibition features the powerful and intuitive Madonna series of Mariana de la Vega alongside the luminous, consciousness-centered angelic works of Ambika Wauters. Their works in this series will follow themes appearing in their life and spirituality, finding new homes on expressionistic canvases.

Curated in collaboration with Crystal Alchemist, Artist, and Curator Karyn Holyk, the exhibition will also include a juried component featuring selected contemporary artists whose original works expand upon the themes of guidance, spirit, transformation, intuition, compassion, divine symbolism, sacred embodiment, and unseen connection.

The Madonna has embodied divine compassion, as an anchor of tenderness, humanity, and sacred holding. Angels, by contrast, emerge as messengers. They hold energetic presences that offer wisdom and protection and provide illumination beyond language.

In Mariana de la Vega’s expressive and emotionally charged paintings, the Madonna becomes deeply human and heart centered. They are a symbolic and intuitive vessel of her resilience and grace. In the work of Ambika Wauters, angels arise as frequencies of healing and consciousness, inviting viewers into a space of energetic reflection and spiritual connection.
