A Tucson PGA TOUR Champions event (formerly Tucson Conquistadores Classic) features legends of men's pro golf. The winner, like Tom Lehman after his 2017 victory, is crowned with the coveted "Champions' Helmet."

A Tucson tradition of excellence awaits at the Cologuard Classic, Tucson's PGA TOUR Champions Tour event hosted by the Tucson Conquistadors! Southern Arizona has a rich and storied history of hosting some of the greatest golfers and most memorable performances ever seen on a green, and this sunny springtime showcase promises to be no exception. The galaxy of golfing greats expected to tee off on the famed Catalina Course at Omni Tucson National Resort include defending tournament champion Tom Lehman as well as Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, José María Olazábal, Vijay Singh, and John Daly. Here's a look at the unofficial list of players who have entered the field.

AWARD-WINNING COURSE - Designed by Robert Van Hagge and Bruce Devlin, the Omni Tucson National Resort was ranked among Golf Digest's "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America" and its 18th hole is considered to be one of the finest and most challenging finishing holes on the PGA TOUR. This parkland course is among more than 40 courses in the Tucson area.

PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS -  The PGA TOUR Champions is a membership organization of golf’s most recognizable and accomplished players, age 50 and older, including members of the World Golf Hall of Fame. 

TUCSON CONQUISTADORES - Since its inception in 1962, the Tucson Conquistadores has hosted a professional golf tournament to raise monies for youth athletic programs in southern Arizona, providing less-fortunate kids with the character-building experience of participating in sports, and has contributed over $35 million as of 2017.
